FAC Musicians Perform in Greenville All-County Band Festival

Six FAC musicians participated in the Greenville All-County Band Festival held at Woodmont High School on February 12 and 13. Clarinetist Luke Delello (Wade Hampton), saxophonist Jake "The Web Master" Webb, and bassoonist Carmichael Caldwell (JL Mann) enjoy break time at the ACB Festival. The three wind players were part of the Concert Band.

Ben Tomlinson (Riverside HS), looking cool and casual, works out a thorny orchestral bell part. Ben won the First Chair Mallets (marimba, xylophone, bells, etc.) chair in the Wind Ensemble.

Josh Caprell (Southside Christian), the region's Best Kid Tympanist, prepares to do tympanic battle. He was "top dog on tympani" as the Wind Ensemble's Tympanist.

David Katilius (JL Mann, 3rd from left) smiles pretty with Ty Clark (Mauldin), CJ Pascuzzo (Mauldin) and Jacob Lawler (Eastside), CJ and Jacob will be members of FAC's percussion classes in 2007-2008. All four were part of the Wind Ensemble.
