Former GCYO Concert Master Performs in Greenville

Former GCYO Concert Master and FAC Strings Chamber Music students Chloe Robinson (class of 2004) will perform Gian Carlo Menotti's Violin Concerto with the Foothills Philharmonic at the Peace Center's Dorothy Gunter Theater on February 17. The concert, which will also feature the music of Giuseppe Verdi and Peter Illich Tschaikovsky, will begin at 7:30 and is free to the public. FP Music Director and Conductor Gary A. Robinson will lead the concert.
Chloe is currently a junior at the Oberlin (OH) Conservatory where she is pursuing a degree in violin performance. Chloe has served as the Concert Master of the Oberlin Conservatory Symphony and has toured with that orchestra in the People's Republic of China. As a member of the conservatory's Contemporary Music Ensemble, Chloe performed a concert dedicated to the music of Georg Ligiti in Columbia University's Miller Auditorium. Recently, her string quartet was chosen to perform a concert for Oberlin donors in Manhattan.
Be sure to come to this great concert!
