Josh Caprell and Ben Tomlinson Become Daddies

No, no, not that kind of daddy. Both enterprising percussionists are now proud parents to new marimbas! The Caprell family recently purchased a 1950s vintage Leedy four-octave marimba from Artie Liebermann of Charlotte, NC. The Leedy is prized for its beautiful sound as well as for its significant historical value. The Tomlinson's purchased a new Adams four-and-a-third octave marimba from the Percussion Source. (FAC percussionist Adam Maalouf also owns one of these fine Adams marimbas.) In the near future, Josh and Ben are looking into several opportunities for summer study. Both are considering a percussion major in college. Owning a marimba is essential to achieving these goals. Congratulations, guys! And now, when will you be passing out the cigars?
