Rebecca Schillizzi Joins The Adams Family

No, not the creepy one of movie and 1960s TV fame. Becca became fourth student this year to purchase (actually, her sweet grandparents bought it for her) a marimba to be a part of her ongoing percussion studies at the Fine Arts Center. The marimba is a 4.3 octave Adams Soloist model with Padouk bars and a height adjustable frame. Asked what she likes about the marimba, she says Becca says she enjoys its great sound and pretty, red bars. It looks nice in her living room, wouldn't you say? And look at that excellent technique: low hands and good overall posture. You'll see more of this at our May 9th recital and in next year's class as well.
